Subway in Thailand unveils MEAT ZERO’s Plant-Based Garlic & Herb Patty
Subway has launched Plant-Based Garlic & Herb Patty in collaboration with MEAT ZERO, a plant-based food brand from Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) and a market leader in Thailand, to serve up delicious meals for health-conscious consumers. The collaborated products are now available in Subway stores throughout Thailand.
About Passion Co. Ltd., the world's largest DIY sandwich brand, has partnered with CP Foods’ MEAT ZERO to launch "Plant-Based Garlic & Herb Patty" to capture a growing flexitarian consumer base in the country.
Anakarwee Chooratn, Senior Vice President for Corporate Marketing of CP Foods, said the healthy meals will continue to grow in popularity, making a huge opportunity for plant-based foods. MEAT ZERO is an innovative food brand that uses the company's Plant-Tec innovation, a technique to make plant-based ingredients taste like meat”. It also has nutritional value like real meat. MEAT ZERO is a healthy choice with protein, fiber, lower in fat than meat and, most importantly, it is cholesterol-free.
