Business Overview
CPFGS is one of the leading global food solutions providers of the CPF Group, offering food products and services to food professionals and consumers through multiple channels in Thailand and overseas. We also engage in restaurant business in Thailand and leverage the capabilities of our distribution business to sell pet snacks and other products that have high growth potential.
As the exclusive distributor of CPF in Thailand and overseas for fresh meat and processed food products, we have access to a captive and steady source of high-quality products manufactured by CPF in Thailand. We also source products from third-party suppliers. Our products are distributed in Thailand and overseas markets through diversified modern trade, traditional trade, and food service channels.
The Company’s business is grouped into the following product categories:
- Fresh meat, which includes livestock (primarily chicken, egg and pork) and aquaculture (primarily shrimp and fish).
- Processed food, which includes processed livestock products (primarily chicken, pork, eggs and ducks), processed aquaculture products (primarily shrimp and fish), RTE products and sausages.
- Restaurant business, through which we operate our own restaurants, franchise restaurants, food courts and provide catering services. As of 31 December 2022, we operated 5,101 franchised and owned restaurants under the Five Star, Chester’s and other brand names, as well as 12 food courts under the “Food World” brand across Thailand. Our Five Star brand offers a wide range of products, including grilled and fried chicken, roasted duck, snacks, beverages, and our Chester’s brand mainly offers rice dishes with various meats, such as chicken, pork and fish, as well as burgers and French fries. In addition, through our “Food World” brand, we operate food courts and provide catering services to various customers, such as healthcare facilities, education institutions, office buildings and event organizers.
- Pet snack, which focuses on pet treats, but also includes other products, such as wet foods, dry foods and liquids (such as creamy treats), canneries and pouches.
- Other products, which include sauces, beverages, dairy products, bakery products, plant-based food products and desserts.
